The FSSP engages Technical Specialists requested by Global Affairs Canada (GAC) in various thematic areas to provide Ghana-specific knowledge and expertise.
They support GAC’s due diligence requirements, such as partner assessments and investment level feasibility exercises, and advise GAC and its partners on strategies for maximizing development results.
Objectives include:
a) Inform the design of GAC’s country and sector development strategies;
b) Provide analysis and advice about local development agendas, challenges and issues in Ghana;
c) Support the identification and planning of new projects and initiatives; network and provide access to key development stakeholders and partners;
d) Monitor GAC development investments;
e) Assist with the results-based reporting, capturing lessons learned and risk assessment;
f) Support GAC’s participation in joint donor and government coordination for; and to input into country, sector and project-level assessments and evaluations.SS
